Gifts and Challenges in Transitions
Lately fierce winds have made their presence known during the night. It seems that spring includes a weather battle between winter and summer. This conflict could be representative of the transition times in our lives.
Transitions can be small and include the wait in the grocery line or big and be about waiting for a new baby or the passage into a new work role.
During these times we experience change. The winds of our emotions stir up. Then things settle to a sense of normalcy. However in the process we receive something new. The new may not seem right or even belong to our current lives, as we know them. For example, last night, since the winds were very active, they delivered a large green tarp into the yard.
Where is it from? What shall I do with it? Perhaps let it sit in hopes the owner will notice it?
What have the winds of change dropped into your life recently? Will you find a gift or a challenge? Wait, watch, wonder and be with the shifting winds of your personal transitions.
